The Chambers Project called on @zoltron who called on @ajmasthay who called on his shop dog Pumpkin to create an eleven color, hand drawn, hand carved, hand printed master print for this Saturday’s grand opening of 60 Years of the Grateful Dead Retrospective.
AJ Masthay is a master of reduction printing. Some people call it suicide printing since the block breaks down as each new color is carved and printed. One plate. One sequence. No way to reproduce it later.
